THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TASK-BASED LEARNING IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO ADULT LEARNERS
Main Article Content
Abstract
In recent years, Task-Based Learning (TBL) has gained significant attention in the field of English language teaching, particularly in adult education. This approach emphasizes the use of meaningful tasks that reflect real-life situations, allowing learners to use language as a tool for communication rather than as an abstract system of rules. The present paper examines the effectiveness of Task-Based Learning in teaching English to adult learners. It explores how TBL enhances communicative competence, increases learner motivation, and promotes practical language use. The study also discusses the challenges of implementing TBL in adult classrooms and suggests practical solutions.
