Abstract

This article explores the effectiveness of the Blindfold Method in improving listening comprehension among ESL/EFL learners. The method requires students to listen to an audio text, take notes, and complete comprehension tasks without re-listening. This approach promotes deeper cognitive processing, enhances memory retention, and develops learner autonomy. The study focuses on classroom implementation, highlighting practical strategies, benefits, and potential challenges. The findings suggest that the Blindfold Method significantly strengthens listening skills and encourages more active and independent learning.
