THE METHODOLOGICAL ROLE OF CORPUS LINGUISTICS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigates the methodological importance of corpus linguistics in modern scientific research. It demonstrates how corpus-based approaches integrate general scientific reasoning, such as analysis and synthesis, with linguistic and philological methods. The research also highlights the use of empirical techniques including observation, surveys, interviews, and testing, combined with qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures. A mixed-methods framework is applied to ensure data reliability and validity through methodological triangulation. The findings show that corpus linguistics provides a comprehensive and systematic approach to language analysis, strengthening both theoretical and applied linguistic research.
