Abstract

Therefore, due to the absence of a designated category in the grammatical structure of English and in the sense in which it presented in Uzbek, the role of phase indicators in a sentence can perform temporal adverbs, circumstantial indicators, separate lexical units of different parts of speech and combinations of words, which, with the help of context, express the relation of a phenomenon to a specific time span.
