IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVE TECTONICS OF CENTRAL ASIA
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the modern Geodynamic state and active tectonics of the Central Asian region. The deformation processes resulting from the collision of the lithospheric plates of India and Eurasia, the kinematic properties of active razloms and their role in seismic safety are covered. The study used data from GPS Geodesy, remote sensing and seismic tomography, on the basis of which not only surface shifts, but also the impact of deep mantle warm matter flow on relief formation were evaluated. The results serve as a scientific basis for the formation of mountain systems in the region, the "compaction" of blocks towards the East, and the prediction of earthquake foci.
