THE ROLE OF MODERN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN ENGLISH LESSONS

Abstract
This article discusses the role and importance of modern educational technologies in the process of teaching English. The effectiveness of the use of information and communication technologies in the education system, multimedia tools, interactive methods and digital educational platforms in English lessons is analyzed. Also, the possibilities of developing students' communicative competence, forming their independent thinking and organizing the educational process more interactively with the help of modern pedagogical technologies are considered. The article discusses the reforms being implemented in the education system of Uzbekistan, the process of introducing digital technologies and the use of innovative methods in teaching English. The results of the study show that the use of modern technologies is an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of teaching English.
