Abstract

This article explores the phenomenon of clothing as a symbolic language of power and cultural influence, particularly through the lens of the image of a stately, confident woman. Drawing on data from social anthropology, gender studies, perception psychology, and fashion communication, the study analyzes how style, silhouette, color schemes, and visual rhetoric in clothing shape societal perceptions of female power, leadership, and status. Special attention is given to how clothing serves as a tool of self-identification, a means of demonstrating competence, and an instrument of influence within social structures. The research covers historical transformations of the female “power style,” contemporary trends in power dressing, as well as media and cultural effects surrounding the image of a stately woman.
