EXPRESSION OF NATIONALITY IN WORD COMPOUNDS IN TEXTS OF DIFFERENT STYLES

Abstract
This article interprets the national and cultural features reflected in word combinations found in texts representing five functional styles of language. The pragmatic aspects of these word combinations in various stylistic contexts are analyzed. The ways national identity is expressed through collocations are examined.
