Abstract

This article examines the development of female characters in literature from a feminist perspective. Particular attention is paid to how the portrayal of women in literary works of different eras has changed, from classical literature to contemporary works. Key works and authors who have significantly influenced the changing perception of women's roles in society and culture are analyzed.
