WORKING CONDITIONS AND WEAR MECHANISMS OF GUILLOTINE BLADES
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes the working conditions of guillotine blades used in metal sheet cutting, focusing on their wear mechanisms and failure modes. The influence of mechanical and thermal loads on blade durability is discussed. Recommendations are provided for prolonging the service life of blades through appropriate material selection, heat treatment, and surface engineering.
