ECOTOURISM POTENTIAL IN UZBEKISTAN: OPPORTUNITY ANALYSIS

Abstract
This article analyzes the essence, historical development and place of ecotourism in world practice - as a responsible type of travel that protects the environment and serves the interests of local communities. The rich natural resources, cultural heritage and ecological diversity of national parks and reserves in Uzbekistan are considered as the main sources of ecotourism potential. . The article provides specific recommendations on the formation of sustainable tourism, improving environmental education and marketing strategies on the example of practical projects in the Aral Sea regions. As a result, a comprehensive, scientifically based approach and a set of practical measures aimed at sustainability are proposed for the successful development of ecotourism in Uzbekistan
