Abstract

This article is about the etymology of phraseology in English and Uzbek languages. The origins of phraseological units in English and Uzbek reveal insights into the social, cultural, and historical experiences of these societies, as well as the influence of various external sources on their development.These units often originate from historical, cultural, and linguistic influences and can evolve through time.The article explains the history and the development of phraseological units voluminously with the given examples of literary and scientific sources.
