TREES-RELATED CUSTOMS AND CEREMONIES IN THE JIZAKH OASIS

Abstract

This article presents a study of the tree-related customs and rituals of the Jizzakh oasis based on ethnological field research. The author also analyzed scientific sources to shed light on the tree-related traditions that play an important role in the population's relationship with nature.
