Abstract

This paper examines the phenomenon of causativity in the Uzbek language, exploring its realization methods within the grammatical system. Causativity, a key category in linguistics, is the grammatical means through which an agent causes an action to occur. In Uzbek, causativity is often expressed through morphological, syntactic, and lexical means, creating complex relationships between actions and their causes. This article discusses the different morphological markers and constructions in Uzbek that convey causative meanings, focusing on how these structures reflect the underlying cognitive processes of causation. Furthermore, it highlights the role of causative constructions in shaping the worldview and perception of actions within the linguistic framework of the Uzbek language.
