Abstract

Developing writing skills is a critical component of education that influences learners’ academic success and future opportunities. This article identifies and explores ten primary challenges faced by learners in the process of honing their writing abilities. These challenges range from a lack of motivation and confidence to difficulties with grammar, organization, and the writing process itself. Additionally, external factors such as insufficient feedback, limited access to resources, and varying educational backgrounds play crucial roles in shaping learners' writing experiences. By examining these obstacles, the article aims to provide educators and policymakers with insights that can inform targeted interventions and support strategies. Ultimately, addressing these challenges is essential for fostering effective writing skills, enabling learners to express their ideas clearly and persuasively in an increasingly complex world.
