Abstract

Case studies play a wide and important role in education and also are  a valuable tool in learning medical English, as they provide deeper knowledge, including the analysis of specific situations and cases from real-life practice. In a medical context, this usually involves the description of clinical cases of patients, including symptoms, diagnosis, treatment methods, and outcomes. The main goal of the case method is to develop students’ critical thinking, worldview, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in situations close to real practice. In medical English, it also helps to learn professional vocabulary, improve communication skills with patients and colleagues, and learn how to write medical reports and case histories.
