Abstract

The circular economy (CE) is increasingly being recognized as a vital framework for achieving sustainable economic growth. Unlike the traditional linear economy, which relies on a "take-make-dispose" model, CE emphasizes resource efficiency, waste minimization, and the regeneration of natural systems. This paper explores the interrelationship between CE and economic growth, analyzing the potential of CE to decouple economic development from environmental degradation. It reviews theoretical foundations, evaluates global best practices, and outlines strategies for implementing CE in diverse economic contexts (Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2020).
