PRACTICAL WAYS TO IMPROVE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF TEXTILE INDUSTRY ENTERPRISES

Abstract

This study explores practical methods to enhance the competitiveness of Uzbekistan's textile industry, a key sector contributing to the nation's economy and export potential. The research identifies major challenges, such as underdeveloped technological infrastructure, limited product diversification, and ineffective marketing strategies, which hinder the industry's ability to compete in international markets. Using SWOT analysis, statistical data, and expert interviews, the study evaluates the current state of the industry and proposes strategies for improvement. Key recommendations include adopting advanced technologies, diversifying product lines, increasing the deep processing of raw materials, and expanding export geography through improved branding and marketing strategies. The findings serve as a foundation for strategic decision-making to strengthen the industry's global position while also outlining future research directions, such as socio-economic impact analysis, technological transformation efficiency, and international cooperation development.
