Abstract
The intense and complex processes occurring in the world today require the protection of human rights and freedoms and the strengthening of them through constitutional reforms. In the 21st century, during the era of globalization, social norms in many countries, as well as in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, international and regional agreements on human rights, are demanding modern and fair representations. This article sheds light on the political stance of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the savior of the "Great Depression" in the history of the United States, regarding the social protection of human rights and freedoms, the protection of opportunities for the disabled and elderly generations.
