Abstract
In the article, the words related to the lexical layer in the works of Shukur Kholmirzayev were analyzed. as in all languages, lexical units have a special place in the formation of the Uzbek literary language and the language of artistic prose, in the development of its oral and written speech. In particular, in the writer's work, synonymous and ambiguous words are used for stylistic purposes, which is the basis of our above opinion.
